Description: Conduct offshore field measurements to gather directional waves, currents, and sediment transport, and onshore field measurements to gather wind and precipitation to understand how oceanic and climate conditions are affecting Kahoolawe. Provide the linkage of waves to coastal processes, and estimate wave states toward future benefit in improving methodologies for regional-scale analysis, predictions and projections.
